“Like most girls every January I used to promise myself that this is the year I will start exercising more and cutting back on the treats, and sure enough, two weeks in I usually find myself sneaking a chocolate bar. It wasn’t until I came home from university and settled down with a job that I decided to join a gym. I wasn’t motivated but dragged myself to a couple of aerobic classes and surprisingly I absolutely loved it!
I love the music, the high intensity and the competitiveness of classes. I find the energy is contagious and the more you go the more you want to go. It is true what they say, exercise is very addictive! I was amazed at how quickly fitness went from a chore to something I looked forward to. So if the thought of going to the gym fills you with dread then why not try aerobics…give it a few goes and maybe by the third or fourth, you’ll have fallen in love too.
