When the latest shapewear styles from Yummie Tummie landed on the Marketing desks this season, we simply couldn’t resist getting in touch with Heather and hearing more about the brand.

What inspired you to start shapewear brand, Yummie Tummie?

I launched this brand out of a selfish initiative – after I gave birth to my kids I struggled losing the baby weight so I wanted to develop a product that would help me get back that boost of confidence that I needed. I was looking for shaping foundation pieces that would be comfortable, while helping me look and feel my best, but they didn’t exist. I knew if I needed it, other women did too. So I took out my sewing machine and leaned on my years of design experience to create the 3-panel tank. Now I hold 11 patents on the tank!
