What is the best-selling style from b.tempt'd and why?

'Ciao Bella', which is an all-over lace balconette underwire bra with a sweetheart neckline. This bandeau shape best seller is perfect as an everyday bra or for that special occasion. The foam-lined cups make it a perfect fit! There is a beautiful tanga to match, which makes this a must have set.

What is special about the SS13 collection?

Exciting new styles! 'How Gorgeous' is a smooth cup bandeau silhouette, based on the Ciao Bella shape, with vintage lace trim. 'b.wow'd', a new innovative one-piece push up, has no seams and a scalloped décolleté with a low plunge centre, which gives an amazing cleavage.

What was the inspiration behind the collections?

Our b.tempt'd customer! She loves sexy silhouettes and fun fashion colours. These are apparent in our SS13 collection with the use of acid brights and candy colours in our new 'How Gorgeous' and 'b.wow'd' styles.

What is your favourite piece for SS13?

'b.wow'd'. The features described previously also mean that this bra is supremely comfortable, and the convertible straps enable the customer to wear it as a criss-cross back or a halter neck. This bra is available in iron, nude and coral tones with a matching bikini brief.

What is your favourite trend for SS13?

Colour! The infusion and explosion of colour continues in importance, whether it be all over brights in yellow, blue and pink or subtle colours, accented by an array of candy coloured straps as in the b.wow'd bra. Bringing fun to your lingerie wardrobe!

What have we got to look forward to in AW13?

Our best selling bra style, 'Ciao Bella', has been given a glamorous twist with gold trim added to the black lace with a contrast red foam cup, and our successful 'La Parisienne' collection has been given a new appearance with oversize spots in a rich nude with black spots and red with purple spots, with matching hipster. Also look out for 'How Gorgeous' and 'Lace Kiss' in sexy lipstick red!

Pretty and playful, Cleo by Panache's SS13 collection features a mixture of bright, bold prints and flirty styles with femininity at its core. The Bella range offers a playful look this season, with floral print and button detail.

When the latest shapewear styles from Yummie Tummie landed on the Marketing desks this season, we simply couldn't resist getting in touch with Heather and hearing more about the brand.

What inspired you to start shapewear brand, Yummie Tummie?

I launched this brand out of a selfish initiative - after I gave birth to my kids I struggled losing the baby weight so I wanted to develop a product that would help me get back that boost of confidence that I needed. I was looking for shaping foundation pieces that would be comfortable, while helping me look and feel my best, but they didn't exist. I knew if I needed it, other women did too. So I took out my sewing machine and leaned on my years of design experience to create the 3-panel tank. Now I hold 11 patents on the tank!

What is your vision for Yummie Tummie?

Yummie by Heather Thomson is a lifestyle brand. It's an everyday accessory that is meant to make women feel confident while remaining comfortable. My goal is to continue expanding the brand and breaking into new categories and markets, so that Yummie can be accessible to everyone. I'm constantly researching new shaping innovations so that I can continue to offer my customers an original product that they can't find elsewhere. Soon enough, Yummie will be a household name!

What do you think makes Yummie Tummie stand out?

Yummie differs from other brands in that it is inspiring, encouraging and it is not embarrassing. It is not something that you are embarrassed to wear and feel the need to hide. Yummie looks just as beautiful as it makes you feel. It's both fashion and function, and it is one beautiful and versatile solution for every woman's wardrobe.

What has been your career highlight to date?

Building a brand and making a product that women love! I have received so many positive messages from my customers, that it's wonderful to be a part of making them look great, feel great and it gives them confidence.

What piece of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Focus on the positives. If you pay too much attention to the negatives, it'll bog you down and you won't be able to move forward. You need to have thick skin in business!

And finally, what has it been like making the "Real Housewives of New York City"?

It's been a positive experience for me. I've had a great time meeting all of the women - they always keep you on your toes! Along with a unique life experience, it was also undoubtedly the ideal platform for me to promote my company, Yummie by Heather Thomson, so I could tell my brand story and share our message that shapewear doesn't have to hurt. Most rewarding is the opportunity it's given me to speak out about those causes closest to my heart, specifically organ donation...People now come up to me on the street and say "I checked the box!" on their drivers' licenses to become an organ donor. It is very fulfilling to know that I was able to reach people in that way, and spread awareness about donating life.
