Creative Production Manager
Location
Welwyn Garden City
The Role
This role will involve leading the management of workflow, task assignment and sign off for the in-house Creative team; you will be responsible for the production of all website content , print creative, affiliate and 3rd party banners and customer emails.
Accountabilities
Operations
- Accepting and approving all creative briefs
- Ensuring all briefs meet guidelines, e.g including all images, links, tags, URLs, copy and deadline
- Estimating time to produce all creative requirements
- Ensuring all processes are adhered to
- Responsibility for defining and delivering critical paths to ensure deadlines are met
- Managing creative priorities and assigning tasks to creative team
- Working closely with brand guidelines and ensuring creative output is on brief and includes all elements requested before presenting to project owner.
Finance
- working efficiently to react to trade and drive the business priorities
- ensuring that team resources are managed within budget where required
People
- Managing workflow ensuring all team members are working efficiently on the right tasks
- Forecasting and organising resource requirements and managing use of temps and holiday cover as needed with HR
- Responsibility for communication with project owners and the business of any issues or deadlines at risk
- Manages, leads and coaches a team of web developers and designers and supports them to deliver their KPI’s
- Feeding back and managing expectations of project owner / business
- Management of sign off process, ensuring right people sign off right elements at right time, and necessary amends are briefed in.
Customer
- Working with all other teams in the business to ensure that the customer journey on site is supported by creative
- Operating with the customer in mind at all times
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an online or multi-channel environment
- Ability to manage and implement processes
- Ability to prioritise tasks on a large scale
- An understanding of best practice in website usability, SEO and website accessibility
- Good commercial awareness
- Understanding fashion retail and the pace of a reactive business
- Understanding of creative production for online including knowledge of: Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Flash, XHTML code, W3C compliances.
- Work to tight deadlines with accuracy and speed
- Solid influencing and people management skills at all levels
- Good delegation skills
- Highly organised with ability to identify and streamline processes
- Be forward thinking and innovative
