The Role

Dynamic and talented Senior Designer required to develop the figleaves.com brand through all creative/editorial content. This role would suit someone who is highly creative, has exceptional eye to detail, thrives on all things fashion and lifestyle and pushes boundaries in terms of editorial design, layout and typography. This role does not involve coding but will need to understand fully how the coding process works. This role requires the ability to lead a team of designers to deliver a single brand handwriting for figleaves.com

Responsibilities

Operations

• Driving and developing creative both on and offline
• Designing both online and print, including main site, e-mag, e-mail and printed materials including DM.
• Delivering brand guidelines
• Work to tight deadlines with accuracy and speed
• Working with coders to ensure design is bought to life, and right functionality is delivered

People

• Inspiring and leading designers
• Working with B&M, OM and marketing to fully understand the brief, and ensure creative meets expectations
• Ability to lead other designers to create a single brand handwriting

Customer

• Understanding of brand values and target market, and producing relevant design
• Working to tight deadlines, and managing expectations

Skills and Experience

• You must be design focussed – ooze creative flair with pin sharp eye for detail
• Premium Fashion Retail background with good commercial awareness
• Experience within an editorial environment
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines
• Photoshop and Illustrator skills and an understanding of HTML, CSS and Flash
• Excellent typographic and layout skills
• Solid influencing and people management skills at all levels
• Highly organised with ability to identify and streamline processes
• Be forward thinking and innovative
