The balconette looks delicate and sexy with a low, square neckline and wide straps. Cups are shaped with seams to lift the cleavage like a corset. In larger cups the neckline may be higher.

full cup
The full cup style is designed to cover all, or most of, the breast tissue. This can look particularly flattering where some elasticity of tissue may have been lost.
minimiser
This bra works to minimise the apparent size of the bust. If you have a larger cup size you may find this style works well under shirts and tops that can gape with bigger busts.
non-wired
This style is specially constructed to support without underwire. This is suited to maternity and sports bras, and is best for teenagers who should not wear underwire until after puberty. Many women with larger band sizes also find this style more comfortable.
plunge
This style sculpts and shows off the cleavage with a low centre front and cut away cups. They are often padded to boost the effect.
push up
These bras add oomph and will usually be a plunge or balconette shape. They create an uplifted cleavage with padding in foam, air or gel. If you're not used to this style, a larger cup size may feel more comfy.
sports
The breasts are supported by Cooper's Ligaments which can be stretched during exercise, so a sports bra that minimises impact is essential. A good sports bra will cut movement by about 50%. Look for non-wired styles with cushioned straps for comfort. Most sports bras have a special support rating for levels of sports impact, so check what level you'll need.
strapless
Perfect for wearing with strapless clothing or tricky straps, the strapless bra deserves a place in every lingerie drawer. Many actually come with removable straps that can be worn in different positions too. Make sure you get the band size just right – too loose or too tight and it will ride down.
t-shirt
This style is designed to give a smooth line under clothing so will normally be seamless with a sleek finish. Some are padded with foam, others moulded between two layers of fabric.
