Breast Awareness

We all know that it's important to check your breasts regularly, but how many of us actually do it?

According to Breast Cancer Care, the UK's leading provider of breast cancer information and support, it's simply a question of getting to know how your breasts look and feel normally so that you notice any changes quickly and report them to your doctor. While most changes will be benign, early detection can mean more effective treatment if cancer is found. There is no set way to check your breasts, but you should find time to do it regularly.

Anyone with breast cancer or breast health concerns can call the Breast Cancer Care freephone helpline on 0808 800 6000 (for Typetalk prefix 18001) or visit www.breastcancercare.org.uk for more information.
