Do the bright thing

There’s nothing quite like coming out of the winter season to see the fresh, vibrant colours of new spring/summer collections. We’d go so far as to say they can put a smile on your face and add a spring to your step. So take bold, vivid shades to the max this year with swimsuits, bikinis and beachwear that evoke an unwavering, eye-popping summer vibe.

Sun burst rays

From sunrise to sunset, a myriad of magnificent colours can be enjoyed in burnt oranges, eye-popping yellows and sultry reds. And our swimwear and beachwear collection this season reflects the all-important summer sun (because, let’s face it, that’s what most of us are waiting for). Yellow is a huge colour trend for spring/summer 2019, with Carolina Herrera and Oscar De La Renta strutting it on their runways. It adds a fun, happy feel to your poolside look, while deep oranges and reds add a more glamorous touch which can also easily carry you to evening bar attire.

New style focus

Triangle bikinis don’t always equal itsy bitsy when it comes to material (or lack of it). Our brand new Figleaves Juno Luxe high apex plunge bikini top offers triangle shaped cups with complete coverage up to DD capacity. Non-wired and unpadded, it offers soft fit comfort, while the deep underband and wide straps give hold and support. We love the citrus orange colour pop for the underband and back straps, and it’s also available in bright sunshine yellow (pictured above).

Save bright colours until you have a sunkissed glow a few days into your holiday, especially if you have a fair complexion.

Sorbets and sundaes

Peaches and cream, raspberry ripple and blueberry cheesecake – whatever your flavour of choice when enjoying the ice cold stuff, we’ve got a colour to coordinate. Calvin Klein have gone big on pretty brights this season, with pinks and purples popping out against their iconic branded elasticated trims. As for the new Figleaves Rene plunge swimsuit in magenta, it’s our latest heartthrob. The generous frill can add volume to a small bust or mask a larger chest, if desired. And this non-wired one-piece also boasts in-built tummy control. Pass me the ice cream, please…

If you don’t want to go top-to-toe bright, or can’t choose your favourite hue, opt for dashes of bold multicolours on a muted backdrop.

Rene blue

Our beloved Rene collection has had a powerful cobalt blue colour addition this season to match the bright trend. And because we love a bit of mixing and matching to allow you to create your style your way, there’s four bikini tops and four different briefs for you to choose from. The bandeau and underwired plunge styles go up to G and GG cups respectively, while the high waist brief is available up to size 22 and the fold top brief up to size 26. Because we want every body to be a beach body. Oh, and remember our bandeau loop front bikini top also comes in dazzling hues of turquoise and coral for even more bold swimwear.
