The London Chatter in Mykonos

I was really excited to recently be invited on a whirlwind 24 bikini-filled hours in Mykonos to preview the Figleaves gorgeous spring/summer 2018 collection, which has just hit their digital shelves.

The idyllic, white-washed island, with its rocky landscape, golden sandy beaches and crystal clear Aegean seawater, made for the perfect of locations to shoot some of my favourite, sun-sational pieces from the latest beach and swimwear collection.

In the morning I explored the island’s capital Chora with its narrow and winding, labyrinth-style streets. Picturesque and quaint there are endless little souvenir and handcraft shops to peruse, and cafés to drop into.

I love this elegant off-the-shoulder black beach dress, which once some layered gold jewellery is added, can easily take you from chilling poolside, straight to the bar – a total holiday essential.

Bold prints and graphics are a huge trend for swimwear this year, and this bikini ticks all the boxes. I love the ruffled trim edging and bright floral pattern which guarantees you stand out on holiday.

In the afternoon I headed to the Alemangou Mykonos, a boho haven on Mykonos’ Ftelia Beach. The rocky landscape, golden sand and crystal Aegean sea water made for the perfect location to shoot more Figlevaes swimwear.

My favourite piece from the new collection was the Surf Shore Soft High Neck Tummy Control Swimsuit, which was an unusually sporty choice for me, but I loved its high neck and unique mesh detailing.

I had always wrongly thought that Figleaves only catered for the more curvier figures, but I was so thrilled to realise that they have copious fits for every shape and size, allowing us all to feel both supported and stylish this summer. Here are some of my other favourites.
