The Style Traveller

We invited former fashion editor turned luxury travel and lifestyle blogger Bonnie Rakhit aka to make her pick of the top five favourite pieces from our Christmas loungewear range. She took the pieces away with her on her latest trip to the Cornish coastline, on a Balance Me yoga, surf and beauty retreat. Here are her top picks...

Being a travel blogger and fashion blogger means I get to travel all over the world sometimes up to four or five times a month. Leading such a hectic lifestyle means I want the clothes that I wear to be as comfortable as possible. And what I wear in my downtime is just as important as what I wear in the day. I recently checked myself in for a little recharge break on home turf. Here's my favourite pieces from the new luxury loungewear range from worn on location at CK Rock.

Bliss grey hoody and matching leggings - The range is a mix of chilled loungewear and night wear which is great for wearing around the house and to bed. I'm freelance and I often work from home so the cashmere hoody and leggings are perfect for when I work from my home office. Likewise they're brilliant for travelling in. So soft and yet designed in a chic sportswear style which means they are comfortable and functional. They are a versatile edition to my everyday wardrobe.

Lana silk and lace chemise - I love wearing silky slips all year round. This one is so pretty and feminine and the burgundy colour is perfectly on trend this season. What makes this particular slip so special is the luxurious intricate lace work and the softness of the silk. It just glides over your skin.

Bliss long cashmere robe - Another wardrobe staple for me is a long cashmere cardigan. This steel grey soft cardi won't just be loungewear for me though, I like to wear mine out and about. It's warm, soft and looks elegant, what's not to love?

Bee print silk shorts and tunic - The bee print is a signature print for Figleaves this season. I love quirky and cute animal prints and this ticks all the boxes while looking chic in a navy blue colourway. It comes in a long trouser leg version too, but I like the cute boy shorts style.

Black Ava silk piped pyjamas - For me the most elegant pieces in the collection are these gorgeous black silk pyjamas. The shirt is belted to show off the waist, the trousers are loose and wide leg. The full outfit has a chic white piping details on cuffs, lapel and hem. It reminds me of a decedent bygone era, very 1930s and decadent.
